On successful completion of this practical test students are awarded a certificate. Bike Ed. has been an important part of the MAPS curriculum for over ten years.
Perceptual Motor Program
During Prep and Grade 1, our PMP Program helps to promote balance, locomotor skills, hand/eye and foot/eye co-ordination, as well as body space awareness and auditory and visual memory. Prep and Year students 1 participate in the program weekly. Parent aides help supervise the activities, which are varied to allow for individual abilities. Overall, the program encourages co-operation and self-esteem through success at an individual level.
