What Strange Things can you Imagine?
Activity One
Take a really good look at the image from Imagine a City by Elise Hurst.
What can see in the image? What does the image make you wonder about? Is there anything you find strange in the image?
Activity Two
Make a list of other strange things that you could write about. Make sure you keep it safe and bring it back to school with you as you can put it in your Writer’s Notebook as some writing seeds.
Activity Three
Choose one of your writing seeds and bring it to life! Write with lots of details so whoever reads it can ‘see’ the story in their head.

Write a short paragraph about this small moment in your day.
You might want to think about a special memory you have and write about a small moment in that.
