Buildings & Grounds Committee

 Led by Linda Howie, our school has a very energetic and enterprising group of parents that oversee many tasks around the school.  Currently, B&G have been coordinatiing the National School Pride project.

The Building and Grounds Commiitee are a group of parents that have an interest in planting, landscaping and maintaining the Mont Albert Primary School  grounds to the best of our capacity. 

People who enjoy fussing outdoors are welcome to join us.  In this way their children also come to enjoy the outdoor work too.  Some families are happy to attend the working bees only.  Please think about  joining our committee if you have gardening and/or an interest in the future buildings and future maintenance of the school.

A new initiative planned for 2010 will be "Weeding Wednesday".  Any parent who would like to join our group after dropping of their children can join in a productive exercise as well as meet and enjoy company of other school parents.

Plant donations.  STOP!  Before you throw out a boot load of plants, or a mature larger plant think about the school grounds.  Leave a message for Linda Howie and to contact you. After checking it is not poisonous Linda will endeavor to  give it a new home somewhere in the school.
